UPSC CAPF Selection Process 2024

The UPSC CAPF AC selection process involves four stages. The final selection or the order of merit will be decided based on marks obtained in the Written Test and Interview only. The selection process is summarized below:

Written Examination including Paper 1 and Paper 2

Paper I: General Ability and Intelligence
Paper II: General Studies, Essay, and Comprehension

Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests: Candidates who qualify for the written examination are called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Standards Test.
Interview / Personality Test: The candidate qualifying the above two stages i.e. Written Exam and PET will be eligible to appear for the Personal Interview. The Interview will be carried out for 150 marks. The Union Public Service Commission will contact candidates who have passed the Medical Standard Tests to schedule an interview and personality test.
Final Selection / Merit List Preparation: After all the 3 stages, the commission will release the Final merit list for the final selection of candidates.
