UPPSC AE Recruitment 2024 Application Fees

The application fees for registration vary according to the category of the candidate. Candidates must note that the mode of payment is online only. The category-wise application fees are as follows:

• UR/EWS: Rs. 225
• SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman: Rs. 105
• Handicapped: Rs. 25

UPPSC AE Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

It is important to satisfy the basic eligibility criteria mentioned in the notification pdf before applying for the recruitment drive. The basic eligibility criteria are educational qualification and age criteria which have been mentioned below.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates who have obtained a bachelor’s degree in engineering in the relevant stream are eligible for Assistant Engineer posts.
• Candidates who would have served the Territorial Army for 2 years or shall possess an NCC ‘B’ certificate will be given preference.

Age Criteria

• The minimum age required for the post of Assistant Engineer is 21 years (as of 1st July 2024) and the maximum age required is 40 years (born between 2nd July 1984 and 1st July 2003).
• Age relaxation will be provided as per UPPSC norms:

  • Ex-servicemen: Up to 15 years.
