If you want to crack the UP Police constable exam, firstly you have to be aware of the exam pattern of UP Police Recruitment 2024. The first round UP Police selection process is a written exam based on the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The written examination will be of 300 marks and the total time duration is 2 hours (120 minutes). Only those candidates who clear the UP Police Constable written examination will be eligible to proceed to the next round.
There will be a total of 150 questions, of which 2 marks are prescribed for each correct answer and -0.5 (negative marks) will be given for each wrong answer. There will be 4 subjects in the written examination which are discussed below.

UP Police Constable Physical Standard Test
The table below provides the minimum requirements for the Physical Standard Test (PST) for both male and female candidates. If any candidate has objections regarding their PST, they can raise them on the same day of the test. To address such objections, a nodal officer, an Additional Police Commissioner, will be appointed at each location. Any objections will be resolved, and the PST will be reviewed or re-conducted by the review team in the presence of the designated officer.
As per the latest notice by UPPRPB, the Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST) for the UP Police Constable Vacancy 2024 will begin from third week of December 2024.

UP Police Constable Physical Efficiency Test
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for UP Police Constable candidates requires male candidates to complete a 4.8 km race within 25 minutes and female candidates to complete a 2.4 km race within 14 minutes.
