Uttar Pradesh Police Department has announced the UP Police Exam Date 2024 for the post of Constable on the official website. The exam will be conducted for 5 days i.e. starting from the 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th, and 31st August 2024. There is a gap in the exam days due to the Janmashtami festival in the state. To appear for this examination the Govt. has facilitated the examinees with a free bus service to the exam center for which candidates need to present the UP Admit Card 2024 hard copy to the bus conductor.

UP Police Constable Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern
If you want to crack the UP Police constable exam, firstly you have to be aware of the exam pattern of UP Police Recruitment 2024. The first round UP Police selection process is a written exam based on the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The written examination will be of 300 marks and the total time duration is 2 hours (120 minutes). Only those candidates who clear the UP Police Constable written examination will be eligible to proceed to the next round.
There will be a total of 150 questions, of which 2 marks are prescribed for each correct answer and -0.5 (negative marks) will be given for each wrong answer. There will be 4 subjects in the written examination which are discussed below.

UP Police Constable Physical Standard Test
The following table outlines the minimum requirements for the Physical Standard Test (PST) applicable to both male and female candidates. If any applicant is dissatisfied with their physical standard test, they can raise their objection right there on the same day of the examination. For the resolution of all such objections, the board will designate a nodal officer, an Additional Police Commissioner, at each location. All such applicants will have their physical standard test reviewed or re-conducted in the presence of the designated Additional Police Commissioner/nodal officer by the review/physical standard test team

UP Police Constable Physical Efficiency Test
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for UP Police Constable candidates includes specific requirements for both male and female candidates.
