• Initially visit the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment And Promotional Board i.e. www.uppbpb.gov.in.

UP Police Exam Date 2024

Uttar Pradesh Police Department has announced the UP Police Exam Date 2024 for a total of 60,244 vacancies on the official website. The exam will be conducted for 5 days i.e. starting from the 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th, and 31st August 2024. There is a gap in the exam days due to the Janmashtami festival in the state. To appear for this examination the Govt. has facilitated the examinees with a free bus service to the exam center for which candidates need to present the UP Admit Card 2024 hard copy to the bus conductor.

Instructions to Fill UP Police Constable OMR Sheet

Candidates need to fill the OMR Sheet carefully as the wrong filling can lead to misleading in counting the answers. The board has released a notice stating detailed instructions for filling up of the OMR Sheet for the UP Police Constable exam schedule in the upcoming days.

• Every question will contain 4 options. The correct answers will be awarded with 2 marks to the candidates.
• Candidate must fill up the correct answer in the OMR Sheet in the provided answer sheet.
• Candidate must note that there is a negative marking in the examination.
• Candidates should use only a black or blue ballpoint pen to fill the OMR Sheet.
• Candidates do not try to erase the answers once filled in the OMR Sheet.

UP Police Constable Exam Pattern

• The initial stage of the UP Police selection process is a written exam based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
• The written examination will be of 300 marks and the total time duration is 2 hours (120 minutes).
• Only those candidates who clear the UP Police Constable written examination will be eligible to proceed to the next round.
• There will be a total of 150 questions, of which 2 marks are prescribed for each correct answer and -0.5 (negative marks) will be given for each wrong answer.
