UP Metro 2024 Selection Process
The UP Metro Selection Process is different for all 17 posts. For most of the posts, the selection process will be in the following stages: written test, document verification, and medical examination. The medical standards are different for different posts. UP Metro 2024 Exam Pattern
As the vacancies are limited, candidates should make sure to study all the topics mentioned in the syllabus and prepare well to secure this government job. A written test is mandatory for UP Metro Recruitment 2024. The exam pattern for the written test is discussed in this section.
- The written test will comprise an objective type computer-based test (CBT) for all the posts to be held in one or more days.
- The written test will be bilingual (Hindi and English) consisting of multiple choice objective questions.
- It will include subjects like English Language, General Awareness, Logical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and knowledge of the respective discipline.
- There will be a total of 140 questions for categories E01 to E09 and NE01 to NE06 with each question carrying equal marks.
- There will be a total of 100 questions for categories NE07 to NE08 each question carrying equal marks.
- There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for every wrong answer.
- The paper shall be of two hours duration.
- The exam will be held online as a Computer-Based Test.
- All questions will be of objective type with multiple choice questions.

UP Metro Syllabus 2024
The online written test is to be conducted separately for different posts, the UPMRC has mentioned that it will consist of a test for general awareness about the given subjects. The written test will be conducted online in CBT mode only. The written test will comprise objective questions of equal marks from the following subjects:

- Quantitative Aptitude
- General Knowledge of the concerned discipline specific to the post.
