UP Metro 2024 Exam Pattern

As the vacancies are limited, candidates should make sure to study all the topics mentioned in the syllabus and prepare well to secure this government job. A written test is mandatory for UP Metro Recruitment 2024. The exam pattern for the written test is discussed in this section.

The written test will comprise an objective type computer-based test (CBT) for all the posts to be held in one or more days.
The written test will be bilingual (Hindi and English) consisting of multiple choice objective questions.
It will include subjects like English Language, General Awareness, Logical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and knowledge of the respective discipline.
There will be a total of 140 questions for categories E01 to E09 and NE01 to NE06 with each question carrying equal marks.
There will be a total of 100 questions for categories NE07 to NE08 each question carrying equal marks.
There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for every wrong answer.
The paper shall be of two hours duration.
The exam will be held online as a Computer-Based Test.
All questions will be of objective type with multiple choice questions.
