SSC MTS Minimum Qualifying Marks

SSC MTS Selection Process

SSC conducts the MTS exam to select suitable candidates for various MTS posts across multiple government departments and the Havaldar Post in CBIC and CBN. The SSC MTS selection process consists of two stages i.e. Computer Based Test and PET/PST. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) will be conducted only for the post of Havaldar.

SSC MTS 2024 Exam Pattern

The detailed pattern for the SSC MTS 2024 Exam is mentioned in the official notification. The candidates going through the previous year’s question papers should do so along with the exam pattern and syllabus. This will provide them with the proper idea regarding the level of questions asked by the SSC. The detailed pattern of the written exam stage of the SSFC MTS Selection process is provided below for the reference of the candidates.

  • The SSC MTS Exam Paper 1 exam is going to be held in 3 different shifts. As per the revised exam pattern, a Computer-Based Examination will be conducted which is divided into 2 Sessions: Session I and Session II. It is mandatory to attempt both Sessions. Not attempting any session will disqualify the candidate.
  • The paper will be of objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).
  • There will be no negative marking in Session I. In Session II, there will be a negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer.
  • The normalization of marks will be done.
  • The questions will be set in English, Hindi, and other 13 languages.
