SSC MTS Exam Analysis 2024, 22nd October All Shifts Overview

The SSC MTS exam is currently ongoing and will continue until November 14, 2024, with three shifts each day. This exam is conducted to recruit Group C employees for various non-technical roles in different departments of the Government of India. Based on the feedback from students who attempted the exam in today’s shifts, the difficulty level was once again observed to be easy to moderate, similar to previous days. SSC has tried to maintain a consistent difficulty level across all shifts, which will help minimize variation in marks during the normalization process. The good attempts and difficulty levels for today’s shifts are shown in the table below.

SSC MTS Exam Analysis 2024: Section wise

General English: The General English section was found to be easy for most candidates. Candidates reported that questions included reading comprehension, spotting errors in sentences, filling in blanks, and understanding words like synonyms (words with similar meanings) and antonyms (words with opposite meanings).

General Awareness: The General Awareness section continued its trend from previous days, with a difficulty level rated as easy to moderate. The questions covered a range of topics, including current affairs, history, geography, polity, Science and technology.

Numerical and Mathematical Ability: This section was considered easy to moderate by candidates. Questions covered basic arithmetic, data interpretation, and profit/loss calculations. Other topics included averages, time and work, mensuration, Simple and Compound Interest, Mixture and Allegation and Time, Speed & Distance.

Reasoning Ability and Problem-Solving: Based on student feedback, the reasoning section was rated easy in difficulty level. Topics included analogies, series, coding-decoding, mirror image, dice, seating arrangement and other logical reasoning questions.

Candidates who have given the exam can refer to the SSC MTS expected cut-off for 2024, as it helps them understand the safe score. If their scores are around the expected cut-off, they should focus on preparing for the upcoming rounds. However, candidates scoring much lower should start getting ready for other upcoming SSC exams.
