Nationality

• The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
• A subject of Nepal
• A subject of Bhutan
• A person of Indian Origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam intending to permanently settle in India.

Age Limit

• The candidates should be aged between 18 to 30 years as of 1st August 2024.
• This means that the candidates must not be born before 2nd August 1994 and not born after 1st August 2006.

Educational Qualification

Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Junior Translation Officer: Master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English/English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.

Senior Hindi Translator or Senior Translator: Master’s Degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as the medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level. Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English.
