SSC JE Exam Pattern 2025 for Paper 1 and Paper 2

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) provides the SSC JE Exam pattern in the official notification PDF at ssc.gov.in. SSC JE Exam Pattern 2025

SSC JE is a National level examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for Junior Engineer posts in different stages. Refer to the table to know about the SSC JE Exam:

SSC JE 2025 Exam Pattern

The SSC JE 2025 Exam consists of two stages: Paper 1 and Paper 2. It focuses on specific engineering disciplines. Both papers include negative markings for incorrect answers, and Paper 2 allows the use of certain aids like slide rules and calculators.

SSC JE Paper 1 Exam Pattern

1. Section Selection: Candidates must select the correct section (Part A, Part B, or Part C) based on their qualifications during the online application process.
2. Paper-Specific Requirement: Each post requires attempting a specific section in both Paper-I and Paper-II.
3. Non-Compliance: Failure to attempt the correct section as per qualifications will result in application rejection.
4. Negative Marking: Both Paper-I and Paper-II include Objective Type, Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) with negative markings for wrong answers.
5. Allowed Aids: Candidates can use Slide-Rule, Calculator, etc., for Paper-II only. They cannot use aids in Paper-I.

NOTE: Candidates will have 2 hours to complete the Paper 2 exam, while those eligible for a scribe will be allotted 2 hours and 40 minutes.

SSC JE Paper 2 Pattern

1. Question Format: Paper II will consist of objective-type, multiple-choice questions available in both Hindi and English.
2. Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
3. Allowed Aids: Candidates can bring Slide Rule, Logarithm Table, and Steam Table for the exam.
4. Scientific Calculator: A Scientific Calculator will be provided in the online exam software for use during Paper II.

Document Verification
