Paper 1 is divided into 4 parts. Below, we go into further depth about them.
After Paper 1, the SSC conducts the Physical Endurance Test (PET). The applicants’ physical stamina and fitness are evaluated by the PET.
Paper 2 includes a 200-mark test of English language and understanding.
The applicants’ physical and mental health are assessed during the medical exam. They must satisfy the required medical requirements in order to be eligible for the post of SI.
The commission issued a public notice back in August of last year informing the applicants about the alterations made in the SSC CPO Exam Pattern. As per the latest revision, there will be a deduction of 0.25 marks for incorrect answers in both Paper I and Paper II.

Only those candidates, who have scored above the cut-off marks fixed by the Commission in Paper I would be required to appear in the Physical Endurance Test/Medical examination.

SSC CPO Medical Examination

The SSC CPO Medical Examination is mandatory for candidates who qualify for the PET. It is conducted by authorized medical officers, and those deemed unfit have the option to appeal within 15 days to the Medical Board for reevaluation.

All the candidates who qualify for the PET will be medically examined by the Medical Officer of the CAPFs or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade I of any Central/ State Govt. Hospital or Dispensary.
Candidates who are found to be unfit will be informed of the position and they can appeal to view Medical Board within the prescribed time limit of 15 days.
The decision of the Re-Medical Board/Review Medical Board will be final and no appeal/ representation against the decision of the Remedicalard/Review Medical Board will be entertained.
