The last date to apply online for the SSC CHSL 2024 exam for 3712 vacancies is approaching near its official website i.e. www.ssc.gov.in. The process of submitting the online application form and payment of the application fee is complete. The candidates can make corrections in their application forms on the 10th and 11th of May 2024.

The Staff Selection Commission has introduced a new method of online application which includes the OTR. Candidates have to do One-Time Registration (OTR) again on the new website of SSC i.e. ssc.gov.in before proceeding to the SSC CHSL Apply Online link.

The SSC CHSL Apply Online 2024 link was active from 08 April to 07 May 2024 on the official website at ssc.gov.in. SSC CHSL Fee Payment

The last date to make fee payment for the SSC CHSL Application Form 2024 was 08 May 2024. Candidates could have paid the application fee via online mode only. For this, they were provided one more day after the last day of submitting the application form.

SSC CHSL Form Correction 2024

Staff Selection Commission will activate the Online form correction link for the candidates who have registered from 08 April to 07 May 2024. Candidates can correct their mistakes on 10 May and 11 May 2024 from the official website. Candidates are advised to go through the detailed application form before clicking the Submit button. In case, if any correction is required in the already filled SSC CHSL application form 2024, the candidates can avail Form Correction facility can use the ‘Window for Application Form Correction’ to make such corrections. After the expiry of ‘Window for Application Form Correction’, requests for change/ correction/ modification in the application form will not be accepted by the Commission.

How to Apply Online for SSC CHSL 2024?

Before applying for the SSC CHSL Recruitment 2024, the candidates were expected to be aware of whether they were eligible for the different posts. Afterward, they should go through the SSC CHSL Apply Online 2024 process. The online application process for this exam is a two-stage process i.e. One Time Registration (OTR) and Online Application. One-Time Registration (OTR) at ssc.gov.in

Candidates will need to register on the newly revamped website of SSC i.e. ssc.gov.in. All old registration numbers on the previous website will not work for any new application form. Candidates can follow the given steps to complete the One-time registration form.

Step 1: Visit the official website ssc.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the ‘New User? Register Now’ tab visible on the right side of the home page.

Step 3: Fill out the ‘Basic Details’, ‘Additional and Contact Details’, and ‘Declaration’ pages with the required information and Submit.

Step 4: Enter the “One Time Password (OTP)” received on your registered mobile number.

Step 5: You will receive your registration number and password via email and SMS. Use these details to log in and complete your OTR profile with all details regarding Address, ID Proof, Qualification, etc.

Step 6: After submitting the OTR along with your Declaration, you are ready to apply for SSC CHSL 2024.

Steps to Apply Online for SSC CHSL 2024 Exam

Step 1: Login and click on the ‘Apply’ link next to the SSC CHSL Exam 2024 title.

Step 2: Validate the auto-filled basic details from the OTR and enter the required information.

Step 3: Upload the required documents, a recent photograph, and a signature in the required size and format and click on the ‘I Agree’ box to verify the information provided by you.

Step 4: Pay the application fee via online mode and take a printout of the application form and fee receipt for future reference.

Documents Required to Apply Online for SSC CHSL 2024 Exam

A valid Email ID and Mobile Number were required for receiving one-time passwords on each of them during the SSC CHSL One-Time Registration Process. In addition, candidates must have the following documents to complete their One-Time Registration form and submit the SSC CHSL Application Form:

• Aadhaar Card

If you do not have/want to provide your Aadhaar details, you must provide one of the following documents:

• Voter ID Card
• PAN
• Passport
• Driving License
• School/College ID
• Employer ID (Govt./ PSU/ Private)
• Information about the Board, Roll Number and Year of Passing the Matriculation (10th) Examination
• Disability Certificate Number, if you are a person with benchmark disability.

Furthermore, to complete the application process, candidates must upload their live captured image and scanned signature in JPEG format. The specifications for scanned signatures are mentioned below:

• The scanned signature should be in JPEG format only.
• It should be from 10 to 20 KB.
• The image dimensions are 4.0 cm * 2.0 cm.

Candidates were expected to fill out their OTR form before applying for SSC CHSL 2024. Candidates are also advised that the new website has a feature to capture live photographs of the candidates.
