SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2024
The SSC CGL 2024 Tier-1 exam consists of 4 sections with equal distribution of marks in each section each section carries 25 questions. SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2024
SSC will hold a computer-based examination with 100 multiple-choice questions. 4 sections in the Tier 1 exam of SSC CGL account for 200 marks. The subject-wise SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2024 details are given below:

SSC CGL Exam Pattern for 2024 Tier 2
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the CGL exam in two distinct phases: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper I is mandatory for all candidates, providing a comprehensive assessment for various posts. Paper II, on the other hand, is exclusive to candidates applying for Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) positions in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
- Tier 2 includes 2 papers i.e. Paper-I and Paper-II further in separate shifts on separate days.
- The Data Entry Speed Test has been included in Section III of Paper 1 for 15 minutes in Module II as a Data Entry Task.
Candidates must recognize the tailored nature of these papers based on their applied positions. Additionally, candidates should be mindful of the negative marking system, with a deduction of 1 mark for each incorrect answer in Paper I, and 0.50 marks for each incorrect response in Paper II.

The candidates who clear the Tier 1 Cutoff will be eligible to appear for the Tier 2 Exam. Paper 1 of this stage of the selection process will consist of three sections each containing two modules. The Section I and Section II will be scoring and the Section II will be qualifying in nature.
