SCI Recruitment 2024-25: Highlights

The Supreme Court of India has announced a recruitment drive to fill 107 vacancies for posts like Senior Personal Assistant, Personal Assistant, and Court Master. Candidates must refer to the recruitment highlights tabulated below.

SCI Recruitment 2024-25 Skill Test

The Supreme Court of India (SCI) will conduct the Typing Speed Test for the posts of Court Master (Shorthand), Senior Personal Assistant, and Personal Assistant on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. The test will be held separately for each post at 23 test cities across India, based on the number of candidates registered in each city. Candidates are advised to prepare accordingly and stay updated for further instructions.

SCI Recruitment 2024-25 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to satisfy the basic eligibility criteria i.e. educational qualification and age limit as mentioned here. The eligibility varies according to the post candidates applying for.

Court Master (Shorthand): Candidates applying for the Court Master (Shorthand) position must have a Degree in Law from a recognized university in India. They should also possess proficiency in English Shorthand with a speed of 120 words per minute and know computer operations, with a typing speed of 40 words per minute. Additionally, candidates must have at least 5 years of regular service in the cadre of Private Secretary, Senior PA, PA, or Senior Stenographer in Government, Public Sector Undertakings, or Statutory Bodies.

Senior Personal Assistant: For the Senior Personal Assistant role, candidates are required to have a Degree from a recognized university. They must also be proficient in English Shorthand with a speed of 110 words per minute and know computer operations with a typing speed of 40 words per minute.

Personal Assistant: Candidates must possess a Degree from a recognized university, proficiency in English Shorthand with a speed of 100 words per minute, and knowledge of computer operations with a typing speed of 40 words per minute.

Age Limit

The age limit for the various posts is as follows:

1. Court Master (Shorthand): 30- 45 Years.
2. Senior Personal Assistant: 18-30 Years.
3. Personal Assistant: 18-30 Years.
