NFR Apprentices Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates need to fulfill the educational qualification and age requirements to be eligible for applying for the NFR Apprentices recruitment.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have completed Matriculation (Class 10) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
- Additionally, candidates must possess a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the relevant trade, issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).
- For Medical Laboratory Technician (Pathology) & Medical Laboratory Technician (Radiology), the candidate must be Class 12 pass (under 10+2 system) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum of 50% marks.

NFR Apprentices Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The selection for this recruitment will be done based on merit, meaning there won’t be any exam. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the marks they scored in their educational qualifications. After that, selected candidates will go through a document verification process.
Merit Calculation:
- For most trades: Average of marks in Matriculation (minimum 50%) + ITI marks in the relevant trade.
- For Laboratory Technician (Pathology/Radiology): Average of marks in Matriculation + 12th Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology).
Document Verification:
Candidates will be shortlisted for document verification based on merit, with 1.5 times the number of vacancies called for verification.
Tie-breaking Criteria:
In case of a tie, preference will be given to the older candidate.

RRC NFR Apprentices Salary 2024
Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend according to the rates specified under the Apprenticeship , 1961. During training, no hostel accommodation will be provided, so apprentices are expected to arrange their own housing. Upon completion of the training period, apprentices will be released.
