RRC NER Apprentice Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill all the eligibility conditions specified in the official notification by the RRC NER for Apprentice Recruitment on or before 12th June i.e. before the commencement of the online application. No relaxation with respect to the cutoff date for eligibility criteria will be provided. Check the eligibility criteria below and apply now only if you are eligible on the said date.
Age Limit
The RRC NER Apprentice Notification 2024 specifies that the minimum age for applying to the training program is only 15 years. The maximum age is 24 years. In addition, there will be age relaxation for certain reserved categories. The upper age limit for various categories is mentioned below.

Educational Qualification
The minimum qualification required to apply for the RRC NER Apprentice Recruitment is Matriculation or 10th pass. Candidates must have secured at least 50% and the marks obtained will be counted in the final merit calculation. The crucial date for this criteria is the same i.e. starting date of the application form.
Physical Standard
Candidates applying for the post must submit a Medical Certificate in the prescribed format given in the official notification. It should be issued by an authorized Medical Officer. Other guidelines will be determined by the RRC regarding the qualification of PwBDs.

RRC NER Apprentice Selection Process
This is a merit-based recruitment for selecting eligible candidates for training. The merit list will be based on the marks obtained in Matriculation and the ITI trade. Both will be given equal weightage. A total of 1104 candidates at the top of the merit list will qualify for 1 year of training at a selected North Eastern Railway Workshop in UP. Candidates will be paid a stipend according to the Apprenticeship Rules.

- Non-receipt of communication shall not be the basis of any claim, whatsoever. Candidates should note that document verification shall be conducted at very short notice.
