RRB NTPC Time and Distances Solutions
S1. Ans.(d)
Sol. Let, the speed of second persons = x km/h
then, (4 + x) = 50/8
⟹ x = 25/4 – 4 = 9/4 km/h=2.25k m/h
S6. Ans.(d)
Sol. Speed of Babita =?
Time taken by Abhinav after crossing = 495 hours
Speed of Abhinav = 45 km/h
Time taken by Babita = 5 hours
S7. Ans.(d)
Sol. Distance traveled by wheel in 15 revolutions = 2 × 227 × 14 × 15
⟹ 1320 cm
S14. Ans.(d)
Sol. Assuming the length of the candle = 12m
S18. Ans.(c)
Sol. Let the distance be d.
d/6+d/4 = 5
⟹ 5d/12 = 5
⟹ d = 12 km.
