Educational Qualification
As the function of a candidate selected as Assistant Prosecution Officer is specific to the field of law, the required educational qualifications are as follows:
- Degree in Law (Professional) or integrated Law Course from a University established by law in India AND
- Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script and knowledge of Rajasthani dialects and social customs of Rajasthan.
RPSC APO Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The selection process for the RPSC APO Recruitment 2024 consists of 2 stages. Candidates have to clear all the stages to make it to the final merit list and get selected as an Assistant Prosecution Officer. The selection process for the RPSC APO Recruitment 2024 is as follows:

RPSC APO Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern
The RPSC APO Preliminary Exam will consist of an objective-type paper with 70% weightage of Law and 30% weightage of Hindi and English proficiency. The marks obtained in the Preliminary exam will not be counted towards merit. However, it is mandatory to clear the cutoff for getting selected among the 15 times candidates who will be called to write the RPSC APO Mains exam. Mains Exam Pattern
The Mains exam will consist of 2 papers worth a total of 400 marks. The first paper will contain questions of the subject of law and will carry 300 marks. It will be conducted for 3 hours. The second paper will contain questions on General Hindi and General English carrying 50 marks each and will be conducted for 2 hours. Mains Exam Syllabus
The topics asked in the Paper 1 of the exam have been provided below. The standard of the Paper 2 will be that of the Senior Secondary Level. It has been provided in the notification that it shall be compulsory to appear in each paper. The Law paper is designed to test the practical knowledge of the candidates in criminal law. RPSC APO Salary 2024
The candidates appointed as RPSC Assistant Prosecution Officers through the RPSC APO Recruitment 2024 will be paid under Pay Matrix Level 11 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-. During the probation period, selected candidates will be paid a fixed amount as per the government rules.
