• Computer-Based Test (CBT) – This is the initial stage of selection which tests the candidate’s knowledge in General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence, and Reasoning.
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Candidates qualifying for the computer-based Test will be eligible for the next stage of selection i.e. Physical Efficiency Test. This includes physical activities i.e. running, long jump, and high jump, which vary according to the gender of the candidate.

Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Measurement Test

Candidates shortlisted based on their performance in the CBT will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification (DV), with a selection limit of up to 10 times the number of vacancies in each category for Male, Female, and Ex-Servicemen based on merit.

There will be a maximum of two rounds of PET/PMT.
