RPF SI Nationality
The candidates applying for this post must be Indian Citizens. Candidates from other countries cannot are not eligible as is the case for some Govt. Jobs.

RPF SI Educational Qualification
It is one of the most important aspects of the eligibility criteria that the candidates need to ensure before applying for the RPF SI Recruitment 2024. Candidates require a Bachelor’s degree in any field to apply for this post. Appearing or final-year candidates are not eligible.
- The minimum qualification required is a Graduate degree from a recognized university.
- Those awaiting the results of their final examination should NOT apply.
- The educational qualification required should be obtained on or before 14 May 2024.
RPF SI Age Limit
Apart from the educational qualification, the candidates must also check whether their age falls in the range of upper and lower age limit as determined by the Ministry of Railways in order to be eligible for the Sub Inspector post. RPF SI 2024 Notification has specified the age limit on 01 July 2024 as 20 to 28 years. Certain eligible candidates can also avail of age relaxation in the upper age limit.

RPF SI Age Relaxation
Among the candidates applying for the RPF SI Recruitment 2024, those belonging to certain categories are provided the advantage of relaxation in the upper age limit. RPF SI Medical Standard
As mentioned in the official notification, the candidates should fulfill the medical standard of B-1 to qualify for this post.
RPF SI Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
The Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will be conducted to check the health, preparedness, and suitability of the candidates for the post of Sub-Inspectors. The Physical Standards required for this post include height (for all) and chest size (for males only).
Relaxation in the Physical Standards is provided to certain categories of candidates including Females, EWS, OBC, SC, and ST. The other groups like Garhwalis, Gorkhas, Marathas, Dogras, Kumaonese and Others specified by the Govt are given relatively more relaxation in Physical Standards due to their adeptness in certain regions of India.

RPF SI Physical Efficiency Test
The candidates who qualify for the CBT level of the selection process will be called for further evaluation in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). This test along with the PMT will determine whether the candidates are fit to be assigned the post of Sub Inspector in the Railway Protection Force as it is a highly demanding job.
