RPF Constable Recruitment 2024 Photo & Signature Re-Upload Link Active

In a recent notice. the Railway Protection Force (RPF) has announced that the candidates who did not upload their photo and signature in the application form according to the format mentioned in the official notification was provided an opportunity to re-upload these properly from 15th June 2024 (00:00 hrs) to 17th June 2024 (23:59 hrs) on rrbapply.gov.in.

General Instructions

The official notification provides some points providing clarity to the candidates regarding some queries related to the entire process of the RPF Constable Recruitment 2024. Some of these are discussed in the points below.

• Candidates who submit more than one application against this CEN will be summarily rejected and will be debarred from all future examinations of RRB and the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC).
• Candidates should enter their Name, Father’s Name, and Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/SSLC/High School Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate ONLY.
• Selected candidates will have to undergo initial training and only a stipend will be paid during the training period. Passing the final examination at the end of the training is a must for appointment to the force.
• RRBs reserve the right to change/modify/add/delete any terms & conditions of recruitment under the CEN as necessitated and applicable at any stage.

RPF Constable Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The selection procedure for Constable posts in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) comprises three distinct stages.

Stage 1: Computer-Based Exam (CBE): The initial stage involves a Computer-based Exam (CBE) where candidates are assessed on various subjects relevant to the position.

Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Upon successful completion of the CBE, candidates move on to the second stage, which includes the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT).

Stage 3: Document Verification (DV): During this stage, candidates have to present their certificates and other relevant credentials to the higher authorities.

RPF Constable Recruitment 2024 Admit Card

The RPF Constable Admit Card 2024 is the most important document required for the candidates to successfully appear for the various stages of the selection process. The Admit Card for the Computer-Based Test will soon be released on the official RPF website a few days before the date of the exam. The official Notification provides the candidates with the following set o instructions regarding the RPF Constable Admit Card 2024.

• Information and details regarding the CBT schedules and link for downloading the E-call letters will be given on the websites of the RRBs. Eligible candidates will also be informed via SMS and email.
• Eligible candidates can download their e-call letter for the CBT from the RRB websites 4 (four) days before the date of CBT. (However, intimation about the city of examination shall be given about 10 (ten) days in advance).
• Free Travel Facility: In the case of SC & ST candidates who are eligible for free train travel, their e-call letter itself will contain the free travel authority (sleeper class railway pass). Such SC & ST candidates will be allowed to book train reservation by submitting a self-attested photocopy of their e-call letter and SC/ST certificate at the ticket booking counter. During the journey, SC & ST candidates should carry their original community certificate and an original prescribed proof of identity for undertaking the journey failing which they will be treated as travelling without a ticket and charged accordingly.

RPF Constable Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern

The examination comprises a total of 120 multiple-choice questions from four sections: Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude. Each section consists of 30 questions, contributing equally to the overall score of 120 marks. The time allocated for the entire examination is 1.5 hours. It is important to note that for each incorrect attempt, a penalty of 1/3 mark is deducted.
