The starting REET Salary 2024 is INR 23,700 which is as per level 10 of the pay matrix. REET Salary Level 1 & REET Salary Level 2

The REET Level 1 is for those who want to teach the students of classes 1 to 5 and REET Level 2 is for those who want to teach the students of classes 6 to 8. The starting salary for both levels is INR 23,700. 

• REET Level I Teachers – Teach various subjects in Class I to V.
• REET Level II Teachers – Teach various subjects in Class VI to VIII.

REET Salary After Probation

After recruitment, the candidates will have to serve a probation period of 2 years. During the probation period candidates’ performance is evaluated and they are kept under surveillance. Candidates are not given any additional allowances or perks during the probation period and receive only a basic salary. Once the candidates clear the probation period they receive an increased salary. The REET Salary after probation is around INR 38,000 to INR 41,000 in hand.
