RRB Group D Selection Process 2025
There are 3 stages in the RRB Group-D selection process. Each of these stages plays a crucial role in determining the candidates who will advance to the next phase of the selection process.
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Document Verification (DV)
RRB Group D Exam Pattern 2025
The RRB Group D CBT Exam includes a total of 100 questions, each carrying 1 mark, for a combined total of 100 marks. For every incorrect answer, ⅓ of a mark is deducted. This is the 1st Stage of RRB Group D Exam Pattern.

- Question Format: The exam will consist of multiple-choice objective-type questions.
- Negative Marking: For every incorrect answer, 1/3 of the marks will be deducted.
- Language Option: English is the default language for the exam. Candidates can choose an additional language from the list provided below. In case of any discrepancies between English and the chosen language, the English version will take precedence.

RRB Group D Minimum Qualifying Marks
The Computer-Based Test (CBT) is a significant component of the RRB Group D selection process. Candidates must achieve a minimum percentage of marks to qualify, which varies by category:

RRB Group D Stage 2 : Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates will be invited to participate in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) based on their merit in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). The selection will include three times the total number of vacancies available for each community as notified by the RRBs/RRCs. However, the Railway Board reserves the right to adjust this ratio as needed to ensure a sufficient number of candidates for all available positions. It is important to note that passing the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is mandatory, and it is a qualifying assessment. The criteria for the PET are as follows:

RRB Group D Stage 3: Document Verification
Candidates will be invited for document verification based on their performance in the Computer-Based Test and the Physical Efficiency Test. Shortlisted candidates must present a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer on the date of their document verification; failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their candidature.
