What is PM Kisan Samman Niddhi Yojna?

When discussing the PM Kisan Beneficiary List for 2023, it becomes crucial for us to grasp the essence of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a centrally sponsored scheme designed to offer financial support to farmer families who own cultivable land, with certain exclusion criteria in place. This scheme was launched in February 2019. Through this initiative, an annual sum of Rs. 6,000/- is disbursed in three equal installments of Rs. 2,000/- each, directly into the bank accounts of eligible farmers that are linked with their Aadhaar details.
