ITBP Constable Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the recruitment process, candidates must go through the minimum eligibility criteria i.e. educational qualification and age limit. ITBP Constable Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The Selection Process will consist of the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST), Written Test, Skill Test, Documentation, Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/ Review Medical Examination (RME). The first phase of the selection process is PET/PST candidates who qualify in this phase will go ahead with the further selection process which includes a written examination followed by Document verification and a Medical Examination.
a) Physical Efficiency Test/ Physical Standard Test Requirements
For Head Constable (Driver), Constable (Kennelman) & Constable (Animal Transport) : Height: 170 cm for males, 157 cm for females, and Chest (for males only): 80 cm (min), 85 cm (expanded). The standards vary slightly for candidates from certain regions (like North East states, and hilly areas) and for specific categories (ST candidates). The table given below shows the physical requirement for both Male & Female candidates.
