HTET Syllabus 2024 will be released along with the notification by the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH). Haryana TET exam is an eligibility test conducted by BSEH to test whether candidates are eligible to be recruited as a teacher in the state of Haryana or not. The recruitment is done for three levels- PRT (Level I- Classes I to V), TGT (Level II- Classes VI to VIII), and PGT (Level III- Classes IX to XII). HTET Syllabus for PRT Level 1
The PRT or the Primary Teacher is Level I. Candidates who want to teach students of classes I to V appear for this paper. The topics in PRT Level as per the HTET Syllabus are as follows:

Paper I: Child Development and Pedagogy
Child Development and Pedagogy: Growth & development and its relationship with learning, Heredity& Environment, Socialization processes, Piaget, Kohlberg, and Vygotsky: constructs and critical perspectives, Concepts of child-centered and progressive education, MultiDimensional Intelligence, Language & Thought, Gender roles, gender-bias, and educational practice, Individual differences among learners, Assessment & Evaluation, Formulating appropriate questions, critical thinking in the classroom and for assessing learner achievement.
Inclusive Education: Understanding children with special needs, and diverse backgrounds including disadvantaged and deprived & Talented, Creative, and Specially abled Learners.
Learning and Motivation: Basic processes of teaching and learning, strategies of learning, understanding children’s ‘errors’, Cognition & Emotions, Motivation, and learning.
Paper II: Language
English: Articles, Modal, Narration, Pronoun, Adverb, Adjective, Verb, Preposition, Tenses, Punctuation, Voice, Vocabulary, Idioms & phrases, Antonyms & Synonyms.
Hindi: संज्ञा, सर्वनाम, विशेषण, क्रिया, वचन, लिंग, उपसर्ग एवं प्रत्यय, वाक्य निर्माण (सरल, संयुक्त एवं मिश्रित वाक्य), पर्यायवाची, विपरीपार्थक, अनेकार्थक, समानार्थी शब्द, मुहावरे एवं लोकोक्तियाँ, अलंकार, सन्धि, तत्सम, तद्भव, देशज एवं विदेशी शब्द, समास|

Reasoning: Analogies, similarities, Syllogism, space visualization, problem-solving, Blood Relation, arithmetical reasoning, figure classification, Logical Reasoning.
Haryana G.K.: History, Geography, Polity, Culture, and Economy of Haryana, Misc. GK- Sports, Books, Dates, Schemes.
Paper IV: Mathematics
Number Systems, Simplification, Decimals, Data Interpretation, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration Time & Work, Time & Distance Tables & Graphs, and Geometry.
Paper V: Environment
Food: Sources, Components of food, Materials, The World of the Living, Moving Things People and Ideas, How things work, Electric current and circuits, Magnets, Natural Phenomena, Natural Resources, Concept and scope of EVS, Significance of EVS integrated, Learning Principles, Discussion/CCE, Teaching material/Aids Problems
HTET Syllabus for TGT & PGT: Level II & Level III
The TGT or the Trained Graduate Teacher is Level II and the PGT or the Post Graduate Teacher is Level III. Candidates who want to teach students of classes VI to VIII appear for the TGT Paper and candidates who want to teach the students of classes IX to XII appear for the PGT paper.
