HSSC CET Notification 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The HSSC CET Notification 2024 provides the details of the eligibility criteria applicable to the various posts. The essential eligibility criteria for all the posts are:
- Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
- Age Limit – 18 to 42 Years

Age Limit
As mentioned at the beginning of the HSSC CET Notification 2024, the candidates should be aged between 18 to 42 years. The candidates belonging to various categories will be provided relaxation in the upper age limit.
HSSC CET Notification 2024 Apply Online
The HSSC CET Notification 2024 states that the window for the submission of the duly filled application forms will be open from the 21st to the 31st of July 2024. The candidates will be able to apply for the 1838 vacancies on the official HSSC website i.e. hssc.gov.in. HSSC CET Notification 2024 Selection Process
The candidates applying for the HSSC Haryana CET Recruitment 2024 should be aware of the various stages of the selection process that will be followed by the commission to select suitable candidates for the various posts as mentioned in the official notification,
- Candidates will be shortlisted according to the merit list of the common Eligibility Test (CET).
- Shortlisted candidates will appear for the written examination.
- Skill Test according to the requirements of the posts.
HSSC CET Notification 2024 Exam Pattern
The official HSSC CET Notification 2024 provides the candidates with various aspects of the pattern of the written examination stage of the selection process. It states that
- All questions shall be compulsory.
- The question paper shall be Bilingual (English & Hindi). An Offline (OMR-based) written examination will be held for the recruitment of Group-C posts.
- There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.
- The total no. of questions will be 100 with a weightage of 0.975 marks for each question.
- A candidate has to fill one option compulsorily out of the five options given.
- In case a candidate doesn’t mark any of the five options for a question then 0.975 marks for each unattempted question shall be deducted.
- An extra five minutes shall be given to mark the fifth option if the candidate does not know the answer.
- The total time allowed for the paper will be (100+5) =105 minutes including the five minutes.
