Educational Qualification

Male and Female candidates applying for this recruitment process must be 12th passed.

Age Criteria

The minimum age criteria required is 18 years and the maximum age required is 26 years as of 1st January 2024.

HP Police Constable Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

Candidates need to qualify for the following stages to be successful to be appointed as Police Constable. The final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the Written Examination.

1. Physical Standards Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)- 6 Marks for Height
2. Written Test (90 Marks)
3. Document Verification (4 Marks for NCC Certificate)
4. Medical Examination

HP Police Constable Written Examination 2024

The candidates who will qualify for the Physical Test will be eligible for the next stage of selection i.e. Written Exam. The written exam will be OMR based having a weightage of 90 marks. The written exam will include questions from General Awareness, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Language.

HP Police Constable Document Verification and Medical Examination 2024

Document Verification is the third and Medical Examination is the fourth stage of the selection process under the Himachal Pradesh Police Department. The board will check the qualifications documents including age, academic, Category, and domicile for which the dates will be notified soon.

HP Police Constable Salary 2024

Candidates appointed as Constable in the Himachal Pradesh Police Department will get paid under Level 3.  The monthly pay scale will range from Rs. 20200 – 64000/- including various perks and allowances.
