Staff Selection Commission has announced one of the biggest notifications for minimum educational qualification on the official website of SSC. This recruitment can be the center of attraction for most of the aspirants as it requires only 10th passed as an educational qualification. Through this recruitment i.e. SSC MTS Notification 2024, the commission will be filling up 8326 vacancies in various government departments. 

As the application window is open we cannot predict the exact number of candidates applying for this particular recruitment. However, as per the various sources, we can predict lakhs of registration for various posts under SSC MTS 2024. SSC will be filling up many vacancies for the Multi Tasking Staff (4887 vacancies) and Havaldar (3439 vacancies) posts.

Last year i.e. for SSC MTS 2023 total of 8 lakh candidates appeared from Bihar and UP only. We can expect huge competition for the upcoming examination also. Many reasons have exceeded the number of applicants in SSC MTS across the country.

• The initial reason is the minimum basic required educational qualification i.e. only 10th passed. This is the basic education and this doubles the applications as there are lots of youth in the country who have cleared matriculation successfully.
• The minimum age required for the application is 18 years for both MTS and Havaldar posts.
• The selection process of MTS includes the Computer Test, Physical Efficiency Test/Physical Standard Test (only for the post of Havaldar) followed by Document Verification.
• As per the RTI, a total of 26,09,777 candidates applied for the SSC MTS 2023 Recruitment. Out of which 10,74,235 (41.2%) candidates have appeared for SSC MTS 2023. A total of 15,35,542 (58.8%) were absent for the examination scheduled on SSC MTS 2023.
