Council of Scientific and Industrial Research has released CSIR SO ASO Final Answer Key 2024 and scorecard along with the result on its official website on 3rd June 2024. The direct link to download the answer key can be accessed on csir.cbtexamportal.in. Candidates will need their registered email ID and Date of Birth to go through their answer key and raise objections on the candidate portal.

CSIR SO ASO Final Answer Key 2024 Out

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has successfully conducted Stage I of the CSIR SO ASO Exam 2024 for Section Officer and Assistant Section Officer posts. The exam was held from 5th February 2024 to 20th February 2024 for Stage 1 (Paper 1 and Paper 2) for which CSIR has released the answer key for SO and ASO posts and now the final answer key has been released on 3rd June 2024 officially.

Candidates who have appeared for the CSIR SO ASO Exam 2024 can check their final score released by the commission on the official website. The score will make you understand whether you have qualified for the next stage or not as per the cutoff marks. Candidates can view their raw score Percentile Score and Normalized Score obtained by the candidates can be viewed/ downloaded/ printed by using the portal https://csir.cbtexamportal.in/. Candidates need to enter their login credentials i.e. Registered Email, Date of Birth, Mobile OTP, etc. The scorecard can be visible from 3rd June 2024 to 18th June 2024.

CSIR Answer Key 2024 can be checked on the official portal of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. The CSIR Recruitment 2024 Exam has been conducted for 444 SO and ASO. Therefore, it is likely that subsequent stages of CASE 2024 i.e. Paper 3 (Descriptive Paper) and Interview/CPT will be conducted soon. How to check CSIR SO ASO Answer Key 2024?

The candidates who have appeared for the CSIR SO ASO 2024 exam can access their answer keys and raise objections on the candidate portal the link to which is provided in this article. The steps to get the answer key for the exam held from 5th to 20th February 2024 are a bit unique so candidates must follow the given points in order to view their answer key and check their responses to each question and raise objections if necessary.

Step 1: Visit the candidate portal at csir01.cbtexamportal.in.

Step 2: Fill in your registered email ID and Date of Birth in the space provided followed by a captcha.

Step 3: You will reach your exam dashboard. Here under the “Challenge Management’ section, click on the ‘Add’ button.

Step 4: Scroll down the instruction page and click on ‘Next’.

Step 5: The answer key window will appear with the candidate’s basic details on top. In the Exam section of the basic details, candidates can choose either Paper I or Paper II to access their answer key for the same.

Step 6: You can go through the response sheet one question at a time to check your response and the correct answer.

Step 7: In case you want to challenge the answers provided, you can click on the ‘Challenge’ button provided with each question and select the reason for your objection.

Step 8: After going through the answer keys and raising objections, you can view all your objections in the ‘Summary’ tab provided at the top of the page beside the Details tab.

Step 9: After finalizing your challenges, you can click on the ‘Pay Now’ button and pay the fee for the objections raised.

Step 10: You can download the receipt of the payment done for the challenges raised for each question paper separately.

CSIR SO ASO Selection Process 2024

Section Officers and Assistant Section Officers will be selected from the appearing candidates in 2 stages i.e. The selection for the Section Officer and Assistant Section Officer will be done through 2 stages including Stage 1 Online Examination and Stage 2 Descriptive Paper for both posts.

Stage 1: Online Examination for both Posts (Paper 1 and Paper 2)

Stage 2: Interview for SO (Gen/F&A/S&P) posts only, whereas Computer Proficiency Test for the posts of Assistant Section Officer (Gen/F&A/S&P) posts.

For the post of Section Officer post

Paper I and Paper II worth 350 marks have already been conducted. Upon qualifying this stage, candidates will be required to appear for Paper III i.e. Descriptive Paper. Candidates must get enough marks in Paper I, Paper II, and Paper III together carrying 500 marks. The qualifying candidates will be called for the final stage i.e. Interview carrying 100 marks. The final merit, thus, will be based on marks obtained out of 600 marks for Section Officer.

For the post of Assistant Section Officer post

Candidates aiming for the post of Assistant Section Officer (Gen/F&A/S&P) will undergo a similar selection process. First, they must secure the minimum required marks out of 350 in the combined Paper I and Paper II. Those meeting this criterion move on to the next stage, which includes Paper III (Descriptive Paper) and a Computer Proficiency Test (CPT). CPT is qualifying in nature. Therefore, the final merit for ASO will be based on marks obtained out of 500 marks.
