CSIR CLRI Eligibility Criteria 2024-25

CSIR CLRI Selection Process

The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Candidates would be shortlisted based on their Experience weightage thus advised not to leave any of their experience in the application form. A duly constituted Screening Committee will adopt its own criteria for screening the applications received for the post and short- list candidates for interview by any or more of the following methods:

• On the basis of advertised Essential Qualification and if required, Desirable Qualification,
• On the basis of higher educational qualifications than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
• On the basis of higher experience in the relevant field than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement,
• On the basis of having experience in product development / technology innovation / translational
  research / applied technology etc.
• On the basis of result of a written test / seminar.
• On the basis of Research specialization / Ph. D discipline determined from the topic of research
  publications / Ph. D Thesis.
• On the basis of quality, quantity and authorship (i.e. whether first author or co-author, etc.) of
  Scientific Journal Publications.
• Any other method as deemed fit by Screening Committee.

CSIR CLRI Salary

The selected candidates will get into the Pay Level- 11 ranging the salary between INR 67,700/- to INR 2,08,700/-. Total emoluments, i.e., approximate total emoluments on minimum pay level inclusive of Basic
Pay, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA) etc. (applicable to Chennai which is a Class “X” City) will be INR 1,34,907/-.
