The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced detailed notification regarding the CBSE Recruitment 2024 for 118 vacancies under Groups A, B, and C. This is a great opportunity for candidates to secure a permanent government job in a prestigious organization, i.e. CBSE. The CBSE Recruitment 2024 is inviting applications from 12 March to 11 April 2024 for various posts with salaries ranging from Level 2 to Level 10. Accordingly, the CBSE Syllabus 2024 and Exam Pattern also vary for different posts. Let’s look at the CBSE 2024 Syllabus for each of the nine posts.

CBSE 2024 Exam Pattern
The CBSE Exam Pattern for each of the nine posts is discussed below according to the official notification.
CBSE Assistant Secretary Administration Exam Pattern
The exam for Assistant Secretary Administrative Cadre is going to be conducted in two tiers followed by an interview. Tier 1 exam is going to be offline OMR based and objective type. Candidates clearing the tier 1 exam for Assistant Secretary (Administrative) will be called in the ratio of 1:10 of the vacancy for Tier 2 i.e. written descriptive test. Candidates in 1:5 ratio will be further called for an interview or personal interaction. The final merit will be based on Tier 2 and Interview only.
- Tier 1: 300 marks, 150 minutes; Objective OMR-based
- Tier 2: 320 marks, 180 minutes; written descriptive
- Interview: 80 marks

Exam Pattern for Assistant Secretary Academics, Training and Skill Education
The exam for Assistant Secretary Academics, Training and Skill Education is going to be conducted in two tiers followed by an interview. Tier 1 exam is going to be offline OMR-based and objective type. Candidates clearing the Tier 1 exam for Assistant Secretary will be called in the ratio of 1:10 of the vacancy for Tier 2 i.e. written descriptive test. The exam for Accountant is going to be conducted in a single stage. The exam is going to be offline OMR-based and objective type. However, upon qualifying the objective exam candidates will have to appear in a skill test. The skill test requires a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer.
