Can SSC CGL 2024 Notification be Delayed?

The SSC CGL 2024 Notification is expected to be released today, June 24, 2024, as per the latest SSC Calendar. A recent RTI reply has revealed that there are 15,347 vacancies for Group B and Group C posts. Because of this, candidates are eagerly waiting for the SSC CGL 2024 Notification.

Although the Combined Graduate Level Notification is expected to be released on the given date, there is still doubt as to whether the Staff Selection Commission may delay the notification. The following two issues may be the main reasons for the delay of the SSC CGL 2024 Notification.

1. Lok Sabha Elections
2. Revamp of SSC’s official website on new link i.e. ssc.gov.in

For both the reasons mentioned above, the given notifications have already been delayed. The SSC CGL Notification will likely be released before the SSC MTS 2024 Notification. Also, it is to be noted that the SSC does not release more than one notification at a time due to technical glitches in the application process. Over 30 lakh candidates apply for popular SSC exams which often disrupts the server.

To avoid any issues, the SSC might delay the SSC CGL Notification 2024. However, the exams will still be conducted within the same timeframe as provided in the SSC Calendar and further notices i.e. between September and October 2024.
