Note: According to the official notification, the last date to register for the states of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh division of the state Jammu and Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub-division of Chamba district of the State Himachal Pradesh, the Andaman & Nicobar islands and Lakshadweep is 14th January 2025.

BRO Recruitment 2024-25 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to satisfy the age limit and educational qualifications required to be eligible for the BRO Recruitment 2024.

Based on Age Limit

The minimum age requirement for applying to the Border Roads Organization Recruitment 2024 is 18 years for all posts. Whereas, the maximum age limit differs depending on the post i.e. 27 years for some roles and 25 years for others. The specific age limits for each post is provided in the BRO Notification 2024 PDF. The selection for the various posts will be based on the following stages:

1. Written Exam: In this stage, candidates need to appear for a written examination with 100 marks.
2. Physical Test/ Skill Test/ Driving Test (as per post requirement): Candidates who pass the written exam appear for this stage where they appear for a physical test according to the posts for which they have applied.
3. Document Verification: In this stage, candidates have to bring their original documents for document verification like mark sheets and any identity proofs.
4. Medical Examination: For final selection, candidates undergo a medical examination in this stage.

BRO Recruitment 2024-25 Salary

According to the 7th Pay Commission of the Commission of the Central Government, candidates selected through the BRO Recruitment 2024 will be placed in the pay scale of Level 2 and Level 5. The monthly salary for these positions varies between the range of Rs, 19,000/- and Rs. 91,000. It also depends on the specific role and level.
