Biggest Change By SSC in Recent Years

Staff Selection Commission is introducing the biggest changes in their recruitment process which will be easier for the applicants. SSC has changed the pattern of releasing admit cards on the official website. The commission has started this new practice from the SSC JE Paper 2 for Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Examination scheduled on 6th November 2024. Similarly, candidates can also check their examination status from the direct official website, there is no need to visit the regional website to download their admit card.

Biggest change by SSC in recent years

For the last few months, SSC has been practicing new things to work in the organization’s working pattern. It all started with the launch of the new website of SSC. We are mentioning the basic changes which have been introduced so far.

Launch of New Website: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has launched its website to provide you with an even better user experience. The new website can now be accessed at https://ssc.gov.in/, replacing the earlier https://ssc.nic.in/ URL.

One Time Registration (OTR): All candidates are advised to do a fresh One Time Registration (OTR) on the new website of the Commission, i.e., https://ssc.gov.in/, as OTR previously done on an earlier version of the Commission’s website, i.e., https://ssc.nic.in/, stands null & void.

Live Photo And Signature Uploading: Candidates are not required to upload passport-sized photos as the commission has made the online application fully digital with the live photo-capturing feature to avoid unfair means. By following these instructions, Ensure that the face is completely within the red rectangular area marked by the camera. The face should not be too close or too far, and no part of it should be outside the rectangle. Candidates should not wear a cap, mask, or glasses/spectacles while capturing the photo, etc.

Admit Card Link Activation on the Official Website: The admit card for all the exams in the future will be released on the main page of the official website of SSC, i.e. www.ssc.gov.in by using their login IDs and Password. Earlier commissions used to release the admit card on the regions where candidates have applied. There are 9 regions in the Staff Selection Commission.

Exam City Status Link Activation on the Official Website: The Commission will also activate the Exam City Status on the official website. Candidates can check their application status or exam city status before admitting cards from www.ssc.gov.in for any region.

Steps to check the Exam City Status or to download the Admission Certificate

Here are the revised steps to download the Exam City Status and Admission Certificate from the official website. The steps are as follows:
